By accessing or using Chef Southern E's website, services, or contacting us for inquiries, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Chef Southern E provides the following services:

All services are subject to availability and are provided in accordance with our standard practices and professional standards.

3. Booking and Reservations

Booking Process: All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit and signed agreement. Dates are not guaranteed until both are received.

Availability: We make every effort to accommodate your preferred date and time, but cannot ensure availability for specific dates, especially during peak seasons.

Minimum Requirements: Some services have minimum guest requirements or order values that must be met.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices: All prices are subject to change without notice. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings. Deposits are non-refundable except as provided in the cancellation policy.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Methods: We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. Additional payment terms may be arranged for large events.

Taxes and Fees: All applicable taxes, gratuities, and service fees are additional to the quoted price.

5. Cancellation and Changes

Cancellation by Client:

Cancellation by Chef Southern E: We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, all payments will be refunded in full.

Changes: Changes to the guest count, menu, or other significant details may result in additional charges.

6. Client Responsibilities

Private Chef Services: Clients must provide a clean, functional kitchen with basic cooking equipment (stove, oven, pots, pans). Additional equipment may be provided for an additional fee.

Event Services: Clients are responsible for providing adequate workspace, power sources, and access for our staff and equipment.

Alcohol: Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary authorizations for alcohol service and ensuring responsible consumption.

Safety: Clients must ensure that the venue is safe and suitable for food service operations.

7. Dietary Restrictions and Allergies

Clients must inform us of all dietary restrictions, allergies, and food sensitivities at the time of booking. While we take every precaution to accommodate these needs, clients assume responsibility for their own dietary restrictions. We are not liable for allergic reactions, though we strive to prevent them through careful preparation and communication.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, are the property of Chef Southern E and are protected by copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Chef Southern E's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chef Southern E, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, civil unrest, labor disputes, or government actions.

12. Health and Safety

We maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. All staff are trained in food safety practices and follow local health department regulations. Clients agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our staff.

13. Photography and Media

We may photograph or video record events for promotional purposes. By booking our services, you consent to the use of these images unless you specifically request otherwise in writing at the time of booking.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Logan County, Kentucky, or through binding arbitration if mutually agreed.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate service to any client at any time for any reason, with appropriate refund of unused services. Clients may terminate services in accordance with the cancellation policy.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and any signed service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chef Southern E regarding the use of our services.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
